Hello everyone! 👋🏻✨ I'm Mariana Isabel Gonzalez, born in Venezuela and raised in Mexico, currently a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Computation at Stanford University, Class of 2027. I’m deeply passionate about advancing health democratization in Latin America and streamlining healthcare processes through the power of AI and inclusive software development. I’ve been fortunate to work on impactful projects in the healthcare field, like OSLER AI—a platform that applies deep learning and NLP algorithms for chronic disease detection and follow-up. This project gave me hands-on experience with social impact entrepreneurship and a closer look at the medical industry. I love programming, creating solutions that make a difference, and diving into biology. Outside of STEM, I’m fascinated by art history and classical music (shoutout to Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt!). As a certified Technician in Music with a concentration in Piano Studies from Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco, music is a huge part of my life, and I enjoy composing and improvising pieces on the spot. Currently, I'm the Co-Founder and CEO of a B2B SaaS stealth startup. Alongside this, I'm developing a side project: a social media mobile app designed to support the mental health of caregivers for children on the autism spectrum. Through AI and community-building features, the platform aims to foster connection and provide meaningful resources for these caregivers.
